About Montenegro Men’s National Basketball Team

The Montenegro men’s national basketball team is a relatively new team, having only been formed in 2006 following the independence of Montenegro from Serbia. However, the team has quickly established itself as a force in European basketball, qualifying for the EuroBasket in each of the last four tournaments.

The team is led by a number of talented players, including Nikola Vučević, Nemanja Bjelica, and Bogdan Bogdanović. Vučević is a center for the Chicago Bulls in the NBA, while Bjelica plays for the Sacramento Kings and Bogdanović plays for the Atlanta Hawks. These players are all capable of scoring in bunches, and they give the Montenegro team a lot of firepower.

The team’s nickname is “The Dragons,” and they play their home games at the Morača Sports Center in Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro. The team’s current coach is Miodrag Gajić, who has been in charge since 2018.

The Montenegro men’s national basketball team is a team on the rise. They have the potential to be a force in European basketball in the years to come, and they will be looking to make their first appearance at the Olympics in 2024.
